What to expect during your float tank therapy

Everyone visiting Shropshire Floats will have access to their own private float room. It's there you'll find your floatation tank, a private rainfall shower, and a relaxation area, where you can get yourself ready for the day ahead or simply enjoy a bit more time to yourself.

The floatation experience itself is where the magic really happens. You'll spend your time relaxing in a shallow pool of warm, super-salty water in a light-proof, sound-proof tank. The salt water contains around 550kg of dissolved Epsom Salts, making it more buoyant than the Dead Sea – so you'll float gently on top of it rather than sinking, helping to relieve all those posture-related aches and pains caused by the effects gravity on the body. The water is kept at a temperature of 36C (approx) to ensure the perfect floating experience, and it will leave your skin feeling as amazing as the rest of you.
